Jacob also held various positions at Commonwealth Games England and British Olympic Association. At Commonwealth Games England, they worked as an International Security Liason Officer and later as the Security Liason Officer - Operational Response Lead for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Meanwhile, at the British Olympic Association, they served as an International Security Liason Officer & Team GB Protection member and as the Team GB Security Lead - Performance Lodge for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Before their work in security and sports, Jacob was a Senior Lecturer & Director of Rugby at Moulton College, where they focused on sports science and served as the Head of the Performance & Excellence program. Jacob also worked as a Lecturer at the University of Northampton.

Furthermore, Jacob holds various professional certifications related to security and protection, such as Certified Member (CM) from ASIS International and Close Protection Officer from the Security Industry Authority. Jacob has also received training in various areas such as first aid, conflict management, health & safety, physical intervention skills, and training and development.
