Cheryl then joined the Singapore Tourism Board, initially as an Assistant Manager in Communications and later as a Manager in Communications/International Marketing. Their responsibilities included developing integrated marketing campaigns, managing PR activities, establishing partnerships with travel trade partners, executing global partnerships, conducting consumer research studies, and managing budgets. Cheryl achieved notable success with campaigns like the "Singapore Emotion Travel Guide," which won awards for Best PR Campaign and Best PR Awards.

Currently, Cheryl is working at the Mandai Wildlife Group, where they started as the Senior Manager of Brand & Communications and subsequently became the Assistant Vice President and Deputy Vice President of Group Communications. In their current role, they oversee communications for the Mandai Wildlife Group and its conservation arm, Mandai Nature. Cheryl leads the communications team, providing counsel on various comms activities, including content development, stakeholder engagement, issues management, and press office functions. Their focus is on sustainability and conservation storytelling.
