Polly Bao serves as the Director of Events at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since September 2018, bringing extensive experience in catering and event management across various prestigious hotels. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Sales at naked Group and Cluster Director of Events Sales at Grand Hyatt Shanghai, where responsibilities included supervising catering teams and achieving budget goals. Polly has held significant positions at Twelve At Hengshan, A Luxury Collection Hotel, The Langham Xintiandi Shanghai, and The Peninsula Shanghai, progressing from Senior Catering Sales Manager to Director of Catering. Polly began the hospitality career at The Regent Shanghai and has also worked at The Swissotel Grand Shanghai. Polly holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Shanghai Fudan University.
