Ya’Aqov “Jim” Meyer

Ya’aqov “Jim” Meyer is an experienced cybersecurity professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Technical Leader in the Global Strategic Function at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, since May 2015, Jim has held various roles including Technical Director, Technical Manager, Consulting Manager, Principal Consultant, and Senior Consultant. Prior to Mandiant, Jim managed the cybersecurity program at the Institute for Defense Analyses from June 2006 to May 2015. Jim's earlier experience includes providing vulnerability assessments for the US Department of Agriculture and implementing security solutions for the Missouri Department of Labor. Jim holds a Master’s degree in Computer Forensics from George Mason University and a Master's in Information Assurance from Norwich University, along with a Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems from Lincoln University.
