Łukasz Dziekan

Łukasz Dziekan has extensive work experience in various roles related to technology, engineering, and risk management. Łukasz is currently the VP of Engineering/Head of User and Risk Systems at Mangopay. Prior to that, they served as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Selena Group and took a sabbatical as a CTO. Their previous roles include serving as the Engineering Director, Fintech and AI at Allegro, where they were responsible for growing AllegroPay product engineering and data, and credit risk teams. Łukasz also held the positions of Mgmt Board Member - Chief Risk Officer, CTPO, Chief Data Officer - AllegroPay, and Head of Financial Technology and AI at Allegro. Additionally, they were an Adjunct Professor at The Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, and the Chief Technology Officer and Founder at FinAi before it was acquired by Allegro. Łukasz Dziekan also worked at PwC Polska as the Head of Machine Learning and Big Data, at ZocDoc as a Senior Software Engineer/Lead Engineer Analytics, at Deloitte as a Senior Consultant in the ERS Department Risk Systems Implementation and Deployment, and at ASTEK Group/Orange as an Analyst/Developer.

Łukasz Dziekan completed an Advanced Leadership Program (ALP) in Organizational Leadership at the Center for Leadership (CL) in 2023. Prior to this, from 2002 to 2007, they obtained their MSc from the Warsaw University of Technology, specializing in CAD, CAM, 3D graphics, programming, and software architecture. In 2006, they briefly attended Oxford Brookes University to study Web Technologies.
