Mark Miller

Mark Miller has extensive experience in technical training and education within the industrial automation and energy sectors. Currently serving as an instructor in Industrial Engineering Technologies at Manhattan Area Technical College since August 2021, Mark specializes in advanced technical instruction across various topics including mechatronics, PLCs, and fluid power. Prior experience includes a managerial role in technical training at Evergy, where responsibilities included integrating craft skill development programs and enhancing operational efficiency. At Westar Energy, Mark held multiple positions over a span of 36 years, leading the supervision of technical trainers, developing strategic training programs, and providing on-the-job support as a Journeyman Instrument & Control Technician. Mark's education includes degrees in Industrial Maintenance & Control and Technical Electrician from North Central Kansas Technical College.
