Marcelo R. Bottaro

Marcelo R. Bottaro is an experienced artistic professional specializing in puppetry and arts education. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Manhattan Youth since February 2022, Marcelo also teaches various after-school art classes, including puppetry theater. With a diverse background in puppetry, Marcelo performs with Up In Arms, known for family-friendly shows, and has founded The Figments, an independent puppet group focused on creating content for YouTube and TikTok. Additional puppet roles include performing for Off-Broadway productions, news segments, and children's events. Marcelo's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Brooklyn College and an Associate's degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kingsborough Community College.
