K Yugindro Singh

The astrophysics team led by Prof. Yugindro has achieved landmark feat by becoming the first team from India to discover one Ultra-luminous source candidate (ULX) and seven X-ray binaries simultaneously in the NGC 3384 galaxy and also for becoming the first team not only from India but also from the entire Asian continent to participate successfully in the international ‘Orion Project’ headquarted at Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
