Bathiya Jayasekara

Bathiya Jayasekara is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in power systems. Currently serving as the Manager of System Studies and Sr. Consulting Engineer at Manitoba Hydro International since December 2010, Bathiya has a strong background in electrical engineering. Prior to this role, Bathiya worked as a Power Systems Engineer at TransGrid Solutions Inc. from March 2006 to December 2010. Bathiya holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Manitoba, obtained between 2001 and 2006, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc Eng.) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, completed from 1996 to 2000.
