David Michaelson

David Michaelson has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles in the manufacturing industry. David started their career at Detroit Diesel, where they held multiple positions of increasing responsibility, including General Superintendent. In 1999, they joined Mercury Marine as Plant Manager, overseeing various operations and implementing efficiency measures. David then became Vice-President at Manufacturing-North America, Mercury Marine, responsible for the cost side of the profit and loss statement and managing a significant budget. David joined Brunswick Corporation in 2006 as General Manager, where they created the Brunswick Facilities Consulting Group and achieved substantial cost savings through energy and mechanical system improvements. David is currently the Director of Operations at The Manitowoc Company.

David Michaelson received an AS degree in Civil Technology from Schoolcraft College in 1970. Later, they obtained a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan Technical University in 1974.
