Phillip Carbaugh has a wide range of work experience in the manufacturing industry. Phillip started their career at Grove Worldwide in 1989, where they worked as the Manager of Fabrication / paint shops and later became the Manager of Crane Assembly operations. Phillip then moved on to Volvo Powertrain in 2000 as a Production Manager for Engine Assembly. In 2010, they joined The Manitowoc Company and held various roles including Manager of 2nd Shift Operations and Manager of Mechanical Structures Large Fab. Phillip became the Director of Manufacturing - Fabrication Operations in 2013 and later the Director of Manufacturing - Assembly Operations at Manitowoc Crane in 2014. Phillip retired as the Director of Manufacturing Operations at Manitowoc Cranes in 2019.
In 2007, Phillip Carbaugh attended Villanova University for a short period of time to study Six Sigma Green Belt, but did not graduate with a degree.
