Roger Knecht has extensive work experience in purchasing and procurement roles, spanning over several companies. roger started their career at IBM France as a Manufacturing Engineer in 1988. From there, they worked at Renault Trucks, where they served as a Training and Development Manager from 1989 to 1993. roger then became a Global Commodity Manager at Renault Trucks until 1995. Afterward, Knecht joined TI Automotive as the Purchasing Director for France until 2000, and then they became the Purchasing Director for Europe until 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they worked at Bosch as the Purchasing Director for ZF Lenksysteme-Nacam Group. Since 2007, Knecht has been with The Manitowoc Company. roger held various roles at Manitowoc, including Vice President Purchasing EMEA from 2007 to 2013, Vice President Purchasing Tower Cranes (Potain) from 2014 to 2020, and currently, they serve as the Vice President Global Purchasing.

Roger Knecht has a Master's degree in Strategic Purchasing from Grenoble IAE, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from C.U.S.T: University of Sciences & Technology Clermont Fd between 1982 and 1988. Roger also completed an Advanced Leadership Development Program at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 2008-2009. Additionally, they studied at iaelyon School of Management, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) between 1992 and 1994.
