Chief Club Medical Officer at Manly Warringah Sea Eagles

Paul Bloomfield has extensive work experience in the field of sports medicine. Paul recently joined eo as the Chief Medical Consultant in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Club Medical Officer for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles and as an RLPA Medical Consultant for the Rugby League Players Association. From 2015 to 2021, Paul held the position of Chief Medical Officer for the National Rugby League. Paul also served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Rugby League World Cup in 2017. Paul has worked as a Sport and Exercise Physician for BaiMed and had consulting roles at the Shoalhaven Rooms - Nowra Clinic and the Narrabeen Sports Medicine Centre. Additionally, they have experience as a Sports Physician and shared team doctor for the St George Illawarra Dragons. Paul began their career in sports medicine as the Club Doctor for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in 2000.

Paul Bloomfield attended the University of New South Wales from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a degree in Medicine. Paul later obtained a Fellowship in Sports and Exercise from the Australasian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians.
