Christian Gerards

Christian Gerards has extensive experience in communication and journalism, currently serving as Senior Manager Group Communication and Head of Strategy and Change Communication at Röchling Group since March 2019. Simultaneously, Christian contributes as a freelance journalist for Mannheimer Morgen and RHEINPFALZ Verlag und Druckerei GmbH & Co. KG, starting in September and November 2023, respectively. Prior to these roles, Christian worked as an editor and editorial manager at Schwäbische Zeitung from October 2009 to February 2019 and completed a traineeship at Medienhaus Lensing from October 2007 to September 2009. Additionally, Christian served as a scientific employee and student worker at FernUniversität in Hagen between February 2000 and September 2007. Christian holds a Magister degree in History from Ruhr University Bochum, earned from 1995 to 2004.
