Maryann Hammond

Maryann Hammond is an accomplished surface designer and owner of HammondArtMaryann, as well as a surface design artist at Hammond Arts Maryann, both established in May 2007. With a focus on developing original designs for textiles including silk and cotton, Maryann creates unique custom designs for scarves, yardage, wallpaper, and other home fabrics. Prior to these ventures, Maryann served as a drafter for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, from July 1990 to May 2009, where responsibilities included CAD, presentation, and various project management tools. Maryann holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fiber, Textile, and Weaving Arts from the Kansas City Art Institute, completed between 1985 and 1989.
