João Mateus

João Mateus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. João is currently working as a DevOps Manager at MANTA since July 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded SparkCare in December 2021 and served as the CEO of Tekgenius since November 2016.

In their previous roles, João worked as a DevOps Lead at INSCALE and Blue Prism from March 2021 to July 2022. João also worked as a DevOps professional at IG&H from February 2020 to March 2021 and TCSI-DIGIBERIA, SA. from January 2017 to January 2020.

João's experience is not limited to the tech industry. João was the CEO of Android Emotions, where they were responsible for the creation and maintenance of both the Portuguese and International versions of the Android Emotions website. João also worked as a Full-stack Developer and DevOps at Atomize Software, utilizing Scala, AngularJs, Postgresql, Docker, and Ansible.

Additionally, João has experience in event organization. João served as an Event Organizer for SET - Semana Empresarial e Tecnológica do IST, managing a team of approximately 40 members.

João Mateus attended the Instituto Superior Técnico from 2008 to 2015, although the degree and field of study are unspecified. Prior to that, they completed their secondary education at Escola Secundária de Mem Martins. In terms of additional certifications, João obtained the FitSM® Foundation certification from APMG International in July 2020. João also holds a Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
