Thiago Navarro has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Thiago started their career as a scholarship holder at CNPq where they worked on research and development of control systems for robotics teams. In 2013, they worked as a software engineer at CPqD, where they were responsible for software development, integration and testing for the Software Defined Radio project. Thiago spent 6.5 years as a Brazilian Army Technology Transfer Commission Leader at CPqD, working on waveform and platform development for the Brazilian military.
Thiago joined Beegol in 2020 as a software engineer, where they were responsible for developing custom Linux images with embedded software and researching RDK to be used in broadband devices. In 2021, they worked on Cilium identity mechanism extension and developed GitHub actions for continuous integration at Accuknox. Currently, Navarro is working as a software engineer at MantisNet, where they are developing an open-source C++ library and working with eBPF/XDP for user plane in the 5G core network based on 3GPP TS 129 244. Overall, their experience encompasses software development, open-source contribution, research, and development of network systems.
Thiago Navarro obtained their Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from the Instituto Militar de Engenharia between the years 2008 to 2012. In 2019, they obtained a PET certification from the Cambridge Assessment English institution. Thiago later pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas from the years 2020 to 2022. In 2020, they also obtained an HCIA-5G certification from Huawei.
