V. Lalo Ruiz

V. Lalo Ruiz has extensive experience in engineering, robotics, and automation. V. Lalo began their career in 2003 as Principal Engineer and Owner of Ruiz Engineering. In 2009, they became Principal Engineer and Tracker Engineering Manager at GreenVolts, and Principal and Engineering Manager at EDGE Product Development. In 2011, they joined QBotix, Inc. as VP Technology & Innovation and Vice President of Engineering. From 2014 to 2016, they were Engineering Manager at Acorn Product Development, CTO of Robotics and Automation at L2F Inc., and Sr. Mechanical Engineering Manager at Labcyte. From 2018 to 2020, they held the roles of Head of Station at Matternet Inc. and VP of Robotics and Director of Automation at Ripcord. Most recently, they have been VP of Engineering at Mantle since 2022, where they are combining conventional manufacturing and 3D printing with added efficiency.

V. Lalo Ruiz received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis in 1992, followed by an MS in Mechanical Engineering, Dynamics and Controls from Santa Clara University in 2000.
