Oliver Wueseke

Chief of Staff at Mantra Bio

Oliver Wueseke is the current Chief of Staff at Mantra Bio. Oliver has held this position since May of 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of R&D for Bioengineering at System1 Biosciences from November 2017 to May 2020. Before that, they worked as a PhD student at Max Planck Institute for molecular cell biology and genetics from September 2010 to November 2015, where they identified the molecular mechanism of pericentriolar material assembly in C. elegans. Oliver also worked as a research assistant at Max-Planck Institute for molecular Biomedicine from October 2008 to February 2009, where they were responsible for genotyping mouse litters for the group of Prof. Adams. Additionally, they did an internship as a graphic designer at Atronic Arizona in Phoenix Arizona from August 2002 to August 2002. In May of 2020, they founded and became the CEO of Impulse Science, where they held that position until December 2020. Oliver also served as a science communication coach at Impulse-Science from March 2016 to October 2017. Finally, they were a postdoctoral researcher at Institute for molecular biotechnology Austria (IMBA) from November 2015 to November 2017.
