Terry Gaige

Terry Gaige is the Vice President of Automation and a Co-Founder at Mantra Bio. Terry has over fifteen years of experience in the engineering field and has worked with companies such as MilliporeSigma, CellASIC, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Gaige graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. Terry began their career as a research assistant in the BioInstrumentation Lab where they worked on developing new medical devices. Terry then transitioned to working as a Graduate Research Assistant at Mass. General Hospital where they worked on designing imaging systems.

In 2005, Gaige became the Vice President of Engineering at CellASIC where they oversaw the development of microfluidic devices. Terry then left CellASIC in 2012 to join MilliporeSigma as a Senior Design Engineer. Terry worked at MilliporeSigma for five years before leaving to start Mantra Bio with two other co-founders.

At Mantra Bio, Gaige is responsible for leading the company's automation efforts. Terry has helped Mantra Bio become one of the leading providers of gene therapy products and services.

Terry Gaige attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for both their undergraduate and graduate studies, earning a BS and MS in mechanical engineering.
