Alicia Eggen, LMFT

Alicia Eggen, LMFT has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Alicia started their career as an Education Specialist at AAMFT, where they organized meetings and site visits to ensure program compliance with accreditation standards. Alicia then worked as an MFT Intern and Trainee at UC San Diego Health, where they provided therapy, consultation, and psychoeducation services to medical staff. Alicia also worked as a Therapeutic Behavioral Services Clinician at Seneca Family of Agencies, providing intensive, individualized treatment to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional issues.

Following this, Alicia held the role of Mental Health Clinician at Alternative Family Services, where they provided biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and individual and family therapy services. Alicia then worked as a Program Services Clinician at River Oak Center for Children, providing assessment, intake, referral, therapy, and discharge planning services to clients and families.

Alicia also gained experience in the digital mental health space, working at Lantern (golantern.com) as a CBT Coach and later as a Supervising Coach. In these roles, they managed a caseload of users, provided coaching and support through messaging and phone calls, and ensured adherence to risk management protocols.

Before their current role at Mantra Health as VP of Care Operations, Alicia held multiple positions at Two Chairs. Alicia started as a Clinical Director, overseeing client care, managing staff, and implementing clinical processes and procedures. Alicia then became the Regional Clinical Director, where they managed a rapidly growing organization of clinicians, led strategic initiatives, and scaled the hybrid care model across California. Finally, they served as the Head of Clinical Projects and Implementation, responsible for developing strategic plans, leading implementation of projects, and championing change management solutions.

Prior to Two Chairs, Alicia worked at Contra Costa County as a Psychiatric Social Worker and later as a Mental Health Clinical Specialist. In these roles, they provided assessment, treatment planning, coordination of care, and therapeutic support to patients in a multidisciplinary care team setting.

Alicia Eggen, LMFT, earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology with Special Honors from The George Washington University, where they attended from 2006 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Marital and Family Therapy at the University of San Diego, graduating in 2012.
