Stephanie Turgoose (Davis) has a diverse work experience across various healthcare organizations. Stephanie began their career as a Division One Nurse at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne in 2008 and continued to work as a nurse on a monthly basis, allowing their to stay connected to the clinical setting. At the same hospital, they also served as a Patient Flow/Bed Manager, where they coordinated the flow of patients and allocation of hospital resources.

In 2013, Stephanie joined Northern Health as the Manager Medicolegal, providing advice, support, and education on medicolegal matters. Stephanie also served as a Quality Coordinator, handling serious incidents, patient advocacy, and complaint investigation.

Stephanie then moved to Mid Essex Hospitals in 2014, working as a Governance and Risk Management Consultant, assisting the Trust in preparing for their Care Quality Commission inspection. Stephanie reviewed and advised on the effectiveness of governance and risk management structures, aiming to deliver outstanding healthcare to the community.

From 2015 to 2016, Stephanie worked at Homerton University Hospital Foundation Trust as the Head of Patient Safety & Risk. Stephanie led the patient safety and risk agenda, ensuring robust systems and processes for reporting incidents and implementing safety initiatives.

At The Wellington Hospital, Stephanie held multiple roles from 2016 to 2021. Firstly, they worked as the Head of Governance and Risk, providing expert advice on clinical governance, quality, incident management, and risk management. Later, they became the Platinum Medical Centre Manager and Head of Outpatient Services, overseeing the management of the center and outpatient services.

In 2021, Stephanie joined HCA Healthcare UK as the Director of Quality and Risk, responsible for ensuring quality and risk management within the organization.

Most recently, Stephanie is currently serving as the Head of Risk and Compliance at Manual, starting in 2021.

Throughout their career, Stephanie has demonstrated expertise in governance, risk management, patient safety, and quality assurance in healthcare settings.

Stephanie Turgoose (Davis) studied Bachelor of Arts/Laws (Hons) at Monash University. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Nursing degree at Deakin University, which they completed in 2007.
