Travis Deters

Travis Deters has a strong background in risk analytics and credit risk management. Travis currently holds the position of Executive Director - Risk Analytics and Consumer Credit Risk Management at Manufacturers Bank since January 2023. Prior to this, Travis worked at U.S. Bank, where they held several senior leadership roles. Travis served as the SVP | Credit Process Improvement and Innovation from August 2022 to December 2022. From December 2018 to August 2022, they were the SVP | Digital Risk Leader - Credit Cards and Retail Lending Credit Risk Management. Travis also worked as the SVP | Portfolio Management & Loss Forecasting - Credit Cards from June 2015 to December 2018. Travis led a team of risk managers responsible for credit card portfolio management, loss forecasting, and advanced analytics. Before that, Travis held roles as VP | Credit Risk - Auto Finance and VP | Credit Risk - Unsecured Personal Loans, where they led risk management and loss forecasting efforts for U.S. Bank's auto loan and lease portfolios, as well as branch unsecured lending and student lending products, respectively. Additionally, Travis worked as a Quantitative Analyst | Basel Validations at U.S. Bank from 2008 to 2010. Travis started their career at IBM as a Financial Analyst in 2007.

Travis Deters attended St. Cloud State University from 2002 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with a field of study in Economics. Travis later pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, completing their studies from 2010 to 2013.
