Director of Client Engagement - MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy Growth Network at MAGNET

Janelle M. Lee's work experience begins in 1993 at the University of Cincinnati, where they held a role in Human Resources for over 10 years. In 2004, they joined Uptown Consortium, Inc. (UCI) as the Director of Business & Community Affairs, where they were responsible for securing over $400 million in redevelopment and improvements. Janelle M. then moved on to the Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati in 2015, initially working as the Manager of Business Development before becoming the Director of International Business Development. In 2018, Janelle joined Strengthening Stark as an Economic Development Consultant. Most recently, they served as the Director of Client Engagement at MAGNET: The Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network, a partner organization of the Federal Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) and the Ohio MEP.

Janelle M. Lee holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Union Institute & University. Janelle M. also possesses an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to their degrees, Janelle has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Janelle M. completed the Leadership Stark County program in June 2021, the Ohio Basic Economic Development Course offered by The Ohio Economic Development Association (OEDA) in March 2016, and the Leadership Professional Development program provided by the Urban League of Greater Southwestern Ohio in September 2008.
