Gary Cheung

Gary Cheung has a diverse work experience in IT and information risk management. Gary is currently working as the Director of SME, Asia Information Risk Management at Manulife Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to this, they held roles such as Associate Director and Senior Manager in the same company.

Before working at Manulife, Gary worked at Deloitte as a Manager, where they performed cyber security control assessments and risk assessments for clients in the hospitality and insurance sectors.

Gary also has experience in network security administration and engineering. Gary worked as a Senior Network Security Administrator and Senior Network Administrator at AutomationDirect, where they implemented secure network infrastructure, responded to network security threats, and provided evidence for various information security standards.

Additionally, Gary has worked as a Network Engineer at Northside Hospital and as a Network Security Engineer at Global Payments Inc.

Gary Cheung obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology from The University of Southern Mississippi, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. In terms of certifications, they have achieved the Certified Cyber Resilience Professional (CCRP) from DRI International in 2023, CISSP from ISC2 and PCNSE from Palo Alto Networks in May 2018. Gary also obtained the CCNP certification from Cisco and the CEH certification from EC Council. Additionally, they hold the ITIL Foundation certification from ITIL Certified.
