Maribeth Legris

Maribeth Legris currently serves as the Assistant Vice President of Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Technologies at Manulife, a position held since August 2019. In this role, Maribeth is responsible for shaping IT strategies for global risk, law, compliance, and internal audit functions, while managing technology systems that support these areas. Prior experience includes positions at Sun Life, where Maribeth held various AVP titles focused on governance, risk, compliance, and business continuity management, and at Cogeco, where responsibilities spanned telecommunications operations, security, and corporate social responsibility. Maribeth's career began at Nortel Networks as the Global Business Continuity Practice Leader, providing consulting services to major telecommunications firms. Maribeth holds multiple degrees in social sciences and risk management from institutions including the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto.
