Patrick McGuinness

Patrick McGuinness has a strong background in information technology and risk management. Patrick currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Risk Officer at Manulife since April 2017. Prior to that, they held the same position at Starwood Hotels and Resorts from June 2015 to April 2017. McGuinness has also worked at various positions within GE, including Chief Information Officer at GE Treasury and Chief Technology Risk Officer at GE Capital. Before joining GE, they held multiple leadership roles at GE Commercial Finance, including Managing Director and Chief Quality Officer. McGuinness also has previous experience at Allied Domecq, PepsiCo, and Citicorp.

Patrick McGuinness completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance and Marketing at Montclair State University in 1987. Patrick then went on to obtain their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the University of Connecticut in 1996. In addition to their formal education, Patrick has received certifications in CISSP (from (ISC)²), CRISC (from ISACA), Certified Ethical Hacker (from EC-Council), PCI - ISA (from PCI Security Standards Council), and Six Sigma Master Black Belt (from GE Capital).
