Raluca Blidaru

Raluca Blidaru has extensive experience in information security and risk management, currently serving as AVP of IT Audit Services and Information Risk Management at Manulife since May 2014. Roles include overseeing teams in information risk management and application security testing, as well as developing and implementing security programs aligned with enterprise policies. Previously, Raluca worked at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences, where responsibilities included establishing a company-wide information security framework and leading cross-functional projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Information Technology Security from Ontario Tech University and two Bachelor's Degrees in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Bucharest. Raluca's career spans various positions, including software development and education, showcasing a strong technical background paired with leadership in security initiatives.
