Sinead O'Connor

Sinead O'Connor is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Since November 2018, Sinead has served as Head of Group Actuarial at Manulife, overseeing global actuarial reporting for Canadian IFRS and leading the Global CALM and Asset Modeling team. Prior to this role, Sinead held the position of VP & Actuary for the US Division at John Hancock Financial Services, managing actuarial shared services and serving as US IFRS Chief Actuary. Earlier in the career, Sinead worked at John Hancock Life Insurance Company in various actuarial roles, including AVP & Actuary for US Finance and Long Term Care. Sinead began the career as a Snr Actuarial Associate at Aviva Life Insurance Company. Sinead earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Actuarial and Financial Studies from University College Dublin.
