Dinesha Nanjegowda has extensive work experience in the field of fermentation technology. Dinesha is currently the Head of Fermentation Technology at Manus Bio, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Manus Bio as the Fermentation Technology Leader from July 2021 to June 2023, and as the Principal Fermentation Engineer from September 2019 to July 2021. Before joining Manus Bio, Dinesha worked at Cargill as the Fermentation Technology Manager from April 2015 to September 2019. Dinesha also has experience as a Senior Fermentation Scientist at The NutraSweet Company from December 2012 to April 2015, and as a Senior Fermentation Engineer at Solazyme inc from December 2010 to December 2012. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Fermentation Engineer at Phycal from June 2009 to December 2010, and Senior Process Engineer at Martek Biosciences from June 2007 to June 2009. Dinesha's early career included roles as Biochemist II and Biochemist at Kaneka Nutrients from December 2004 to June 2007, and as an Analytical Scientist at Amgen from March 2004 to December 2004.
Dinesha Nanjegowda pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry at the University of Mysore from 1999 to 2003.
