Vineet Shastry

Vineet Shastry has worked in various roles in the engineering industry since 2004. Vineet began their career as a Process Development Engineer at Metabolix, Inc. in 2004. In 2008, they moved to LS9, Inc. as a Scientist/Process Development Engineer III, where they were the technical lead for the recovery and purification of fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) biodiesel from fermentation broth. In 2012, they joined Amyris Inc. as a Process Engineer. In 2013, they moved to Genomatica, Inc. as a Process Engineer II. In 2015, they joined ADVENT Engineering Services, Inc. as a Process Engineer, where they developed an easy to use tool for achieving optimal centrifuge sizing of disc-stack centrifuges, tubular centrifuges, and bottle centrifuges. Vineet also conducted educational sessions for various cross-functional groups working with the centrifuge systems. In 2019, they joined Manus Bio as a Senior Process Development Engineer.

Vineet Shastry completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Mumbai from 1991 to 1996. Vineet then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of South Florida from 1998 to 2004.
