Jamil Maroun

Jamil Maroun serves as the Superintendent for Manville School District since August 2016, previously holding the positions of Assistant Superintendent and Principal at Roosevelt School. Prior experience includes the role of Supervisor of Science, Social Studies, and Library/Media Services at North Plainfield School District from 2013 to 2016, and a Social Studies teacher at Sayreville Board of Education from 2005 to 2013, where responsibilities included Middle States Internal Coordinator and Virtual School Coordinator. Jamil Maroun also has a background in the entertainment industry, having worked as a Producer with Max Cruise Entertainment and as an Emcee and VIP Manager at Bar Anticipation. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education from Seton Hall University, a Master of Education from Saint Peter's University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Alvernia University.
