Ignacio Puente

Ignacio Puente has over 18 years of experience in privacy, data protection, and IT security. Currently, as the Head of Privacy and Data Protection at MAPFRE, Ignacio is responsible for defining global privacy criteria and implementing privacy KPIs. Previously, Ignacio coordinated the Disaster Recovery Plan for MAPFRE's Main Datacenter. Ignacio's earlier roles include Senior Security Project Manager at France Telecom, focusing on the Identity Management Project, and Experienced Senior at Deloitte, where Ignacio worked on SAP IT Financial auditing and data protection law adaptation projects. Ignacio's career began at EY as a Security Team Manager, conducting IT controls auditing and security analysis. Ignacio holds a degree in Mathematics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
