Sebastian Haede

Sebastian Haede has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sebastian co-founded Sonic in 2022 and holds the position of Co-Founder. Prior to that, they worked at HomeToGo as a Product and Community Advisor starting from June 2021. Sebastian co-founded and served as the VP Engineering of Mapify Travel, which was acquired by HomeToGo in 2021. Sebastian also has experience as the Director of Engineering at Sameday Health from April 2021 to October 2022.

In addition, they have held positions such as Co-Founder and Web Frontend Engineer at wunderfactory from February 2015 to January 2017, Sales Intern and Development Intern at Forto in August 2016, Web Frontend Lead at Esento from February 2014 to March 2016, Technical Supporter at Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg Schule from January 2014 to February 2016, Web Engineer Intern at Bornholdt Lee GmbH in October 2014, and Technical Illustrator Intern at Makaro in January 2013.

Sebastian has demonstrated their entrepreneurial spirit and leadership capabilities through co-founding and scaling multiple companies, as well as securing funding from prominent venture capital firms.

Sebastian Haede has pursued their education in the field of Computer Science. In 2017, they attended Technische Universität Berlin for a year, without mentioning any specific degree name. Prior to that, in 2013-2014, they engaged in Pre-College Studies in Mathematics at the University of Kassel. Their secondary education was completed at Georg-Christoph-Lichtenberg-Schule from 2008 to 2016, where they obtained their Abitur degree in Physics and Computer Science. Additionally, in May 2017, Sebastian Haede acquired the "Full Time Scholarship for Academic Excellence" from the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom.
