Kate works as a Primary Therapist at Maple Hall Academy and Resident in Counseling. She received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Radford University. Prior to joining Maple Hall Academy, Kate worked as a Therapist at a residential treatment center for adolescent males in Staunton, Virginia. Kate worked as a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch before deciding to return to school to earn her graduate degree. Working at Merrill Lynch, Kate discovered what she most valued in a career: the importance of connecting with people, establishing relationships with individuals, and ultimately helping them improve their lives. These goals continue to guide her work at Maple Hall Academy.
