Aaron Cassels

Aaron Cassels has extensive experience in food safety and quality assurance, currently serving as a Food Safety Quality Assurance Coordinator at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since July 2024. Prior roles include Associate Scientist and Product Development Technician at Cronos Group from June 2022 to June 2024, as well as various positions at Manitoba Harvest Hemp Foods from May 2017 to June 2022, including Food Safety Coordinator and Quality Control Coordinator. Aaron also contributed to food strategy initiatives as Coordinator of the Campus Food Strategy Group at the University of Manitoba between April 2016 and May 2017. Earlier experience includes roles as a Workshop Instructor with WISE Kid-Netic Energy and as a Camp Counselor with YMCA Canada. Education was completed at the University of Manitoba from 2012 to 2017.
