Gunnar Purdy

Gunnar Purdy brings extensive experience in manufacturing and quality assurance, currently serving as Plant Manager at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since 2010, following progressive roles including Senior Manager, Manufacturing and Manager, Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement. Prior to this, Gunnar spent 18 years at Bombardier Transportation, where roles included Director of Technical Services and various managerial positions in technical services, methods, production planning, and plant engineering. Gunnar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Manitoba, obtained between 1986 and 1990.
