Director, Community Involvement & Executive Director, Maple Leaf Centre For Food Security at Maple Leaf Foods

Sarah Stern is an accomplished professional in community involvement and strategic development with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector. Currently serving as the Director of Community Involvement and Executive Director of the Maple Leaf Centre for Food Security at Maple Leaf Foods Inc since November 2016, Sarah is focused on reducing food insecurity in Canada. Prior to this role, Sarah was the Director of Special Projects at e=mc² events and spent over six years at Right To Play, advancing through various leadership positions, including Interim National Director and Director of Development. Additional roles include experience at CARE Canada as an MBA Associate, the Heart and Stroke Foundation as Area Coordinator, and the United Way of Greater Toronto as Special Event Coordinator. Sarah holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a BA in Geography with minors in International Relations and Environmental Studies from Mount Allison University.
