Cynetta Lai Leung

Cynetta Lai Leung began her career in banking, having obtained an honours degree in Economics. She subsequently studied law and is currently an Attorney-at-Law by profession. Cynetta is a Senior Partner in the Commercial Department of Fitzwilliam, Stone, Furness-Smith, and Morgan. She joined the firm as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Department where she practiced as an instructing attorney and was exposed to multiple areas of general civil law practice. Cynetta has always had a keen interest in corporate/commercial work and now has an active corporate/commercial practice.

She also facilitates a Corporate Law Clinic for Year II students at the Hugh Wooding Law School.

Cynetta is new to the Maple Leaf family and is the proud mother of a Grade 5 student who joined the school in September of this academic year. Cynetta is looking forward to making a meaningful contribution to the Board to ensure the long-term sustainability of Maple Leaf.
