Giselle Thompson

Giselle Thompson is the Vice President Corporate Operations for BP Trinidad and Tobago. In this role she holds accountability for the corporate functions of Communications and External Affairs, Ethics and Compliance, Facilities and Management Services, Security and Integrated Risk Management.

Giselle is responsible for the management of the company’s external facing strategy and reputation. This includes the management of the company’s internal and external communications and overseeing all interactions between BPTT and external stakeholders including the government, business partners and the community. Giselle first joined BPTT in 2006 as Corporate Brand Manager and was promoted to VP Communications and External Affairs in 2007 and then to VP Corporate Operations in 2013.

Prior to joining BPTT, Giselle spent eight years in the pharmaceutical industry working with GlaxoSmithKline where she held senior marketing positions in their Caribbean and Central American operations.

Giselle holds an honours degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and was awarded their distinguished alumni award in 2014.
