Ling Choo Tan

Ling Choo Tan has extensive work experience in audit and advisory roles. Ling Choo is currently a Senior VP of Audit at Mapletree, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, from 2019 to 2022, they served as the Head of Internal Audit at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). Ling Choo also worked at MOHH as a Cluster Head in 2018, overseeing audit and advisory projects for public health institutions. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Audit Director for Asia Pacific at LafargeHolcim. Ling Choo started their career at KPMG in 2004, where they held the position of Senior Manager/Director until 2014. Ling Choo was seconded to KPMG China in 2005 to enhance their services to multinational clients and provide expertise in internal audit, SOX, internal controls, compliance, risk management, and corporate governance services. Ling Choo began their career at EY in 1999 as a Supervisor, leading projects in internal audit and internal controls across various industries.

Ling Choo Tan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Melbourne between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, Ling Choo Tan attended Raffles Junior College. Ling Choo Tan also holds additional certifications such as CPA from CPA Australia, Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA, and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors.
