Emma Hapke is an accomplished psychiatrist and clinician scientist with a focus on psychedelics as novel treatment agents. Currently serving as Associate Director at the UHN Psychedelic Psychotherapy Research Group and a Staff Psychiatrist at the University Health Network, Emma also holds the position of Principal Investigator at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) and Lectures at the University of Toronto, where responsibilities include teaching and supervising medical students and resident physicians. Prior experience includes serving as Staff Psychiatrist and Clinician Scientist at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health from 2016 to 2021. Emma's educational background includes a Residency in Psychiatry from the University of Toronto, an MD from McMaster University, and a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Psychology and International Development from McGill University.
