Thomas Markedal

Thomas Markedal has held various roles since 2005. Thomas began their career as a Sales/Office Trainee at Idé Møbler Aalborg before joining the military as a Private Soldier in 2007. That same year, they started working at Telia as a Salesperson and Assistant Store Manager. In 2011, they co-founded Nordic Empire I/S, a production company specializing in sleeves for iPhones and iPads, as well as credit card holders. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Telenor as a Senior Implementation Manager, where they were responsible for project management, concept development, communication via digital media, and internal communication. Thomas also edited videos and images, conducted training sessions, and implemented campaigns and commercial initiatives. In 2019, they worked at TECHCOLLEGE as an Education Guide and Team Coordinator, where they were responsible for recruiting students for EUD and EUX courses. Since 2021, they have been working at MapsPeople as a Project Manager and Team Lead.

Thomas Markedal has a diverse educational background. Thomas began their studies in 2003 at Aalborg Handelsskole, where they achieved a Handelseksamen degree. Thomas then went on to attend Handelsfagskolen i Odder, where they earned a Salg med speciale i møbler og design degree. In 2008, they completed an Afsætning degree at Nordjyllands Erhvervsakademi. In 2014, they began an Akademiuddannelse i ledelse at UCN act2learn, and in 2015 they began an Akademiuddannelse in Coaching & Konflikthåndtering at UCN act2learn. In 2020, they completed a Social Media Manager degree at University College of Northern Denmark.
