Shakyra Smith

Shakyra Smith is an experienced poultry industry professional with a solid background in supervisory roles and production management. Currently serving as a Supervisor at Mar-Jac Poultry since July 2019, Shakyra has previously held similar supervisory positions at Sanderson Farms and Tyson Foods. Starting with summer internships at Sanderson Farms from 2011 to 2014, Shakyra gained extensive knowledge about vertical integration in the poultry industry. Shakyra holds a Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science from Mississippi State University.
