Ofir Eyal

Ofir Eyal is the Director at Marakon. Prior to this, they were with Team Chronos Coaching, Wrisk, and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where they were a Partner and Managing Director. At BCG, they led the Centre for CFO Excellence (CFOx) in Western Europe and consulted on and implemented redesign and strategic polices of CFO departments for multi-national, large companies. Some of the companies they have worked with include: insurers with Group strategy, growth opportunities and their financial implications; target operating model design for Life and P&C players to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Risk and Finance departments; transforms Risk Management, Compliance and Governance operating models for several insurers including ERM framework, capital management, Risk Appetite, and operational controls roll-out; consulted high-growth back book Life and Pension consolidators on Finance and Ops transformations, agile ways of working, organizational and data governance, ERM, IT and ops, and 3rd party management; supported London Market speciality (Re)insurers with strategic and financial planning processes; acted as an independent BoD advisor on the risk management implications of several large M&A DDs; conducted strategic reviews for Motor insurers including implementation of telematics products; consulted on several Due Diligences in the Insurtech and telematics spaces for PE firms.

Ofir Eyal is an entrepreneur and investor who has a wide range of educational experiences. Ofir has a Bachelor of Science in International Business from the University of Warwick, and they also participated in an Erasmus Exchange Program at Università Bocconi in Italy. In addition, Ofir Eyal has completed the Senior Executive Programme at London Business School. Ofir is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has completed the Start-up Funding: Pre-seed to Exit programme at Cambridge Judge Business School. Furthermore, they hold certifications from TrainingPeaks, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the British Triathlon Federation, and In Touch Networks.
