Andrés Alvarado

Andrés Alvarado has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Andrés started their career as a Laborer at Marand Builders Inc in 2008 and later became an Assistant Project Engineer Intern at the same company in 2012. Andrés gained experience in various departments, including accounting, estimating, and project management.

In 2013, Andrés served as a Project Engineer Intern and later as a Project Superintendent at Marand Builders Inc. Andrés successfully led an expansion and renovation project, completing it within budget and on time.

Andrés also has experience as a Corporate Marketing Intern at TIC The Industrial Company, where they worked on a resume conversion project and visited different jobsites, including power plants, coal refineries, and gold mines.

In 2015, they worked as a Project Engineer Intern at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company, where they tracked project completion and budget using Microsoft Excel. Andrés also assisted in writing subcontracts and processing submittals.

In 2016, Andrés served as an Administrative Intern at Novant Health before joining Marand Builders Inc in 2017 as a Project Manager. Andrés later became the Business Development & Special Projects Manager and then the Vice President of Business Development & Marketing.

Throughout their career, Andrés has demonstrated their skills in project management, business development, marketing, and team collaboration.

Andrés Alvarado completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management at Louisiana State University from 2012 to 2016. Andrés also obtained a certification in Stanford Latino Entrepreneurship Initiative Education Program: Scaling from Stanford GSB Executive Education in 2021.
