Derek Brown has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Regional Wellness Coordinator at RehabCare Group Inc from April 2011 to September 2013. Currently, they work as the Regional Vice President of Client & Care Team Experience, starting in January 2020.

Derek Brown has a Master's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling/Psychology from the University of North Texas, obtained from 2014 to 2016. Derek also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health & Healthcare Administration from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), obtained from 2010 to 2015. In addition, Derek is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, certified by the CRCC (Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification) in December 2016.
