Ben Martinez

Ben Martinez has extensive experience in terminal and fleet operations within the petroleum industry, currently serving as Director of Terminal & Fleet Operations at Tesoro since February 1979, and as Director of Marketing Terminals CA at Marathon Petroleum Corporation since October 2018. Previous roles include Terminal and Fleet Operations Manager and District Operations Manager at BP West Coast Products Co., where responsibilities included managing terminaling and distribution activities for multiple terminals, overseeing fuel deliveries to numerous ARCO service stations. Ben’s career also includes a temporary role as Manager of Business Improvement at Arco, where benchmarking studies and re-engineering strategies were implemented. Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of La Verne, earned between 1993 and 1995.
