Matthew Eckelberry

Matthew Eckelberry, CISA, currently serves as the Lead IT Auditor at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where responsibilities include enhancing testing efficiencies in audit programs and refining the department audit process. Prior roles include being a Senior IT Infrastructure Auditor and IT Infrastructure Auditor at Marathon Petroleum, where significant contributions involved leading SOX engagements and updating testing methodologies post-acquisition in 2018. With previous experience as an Audit Associate at Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD, and in Risk Assurance at PwC, Matthew has consistently focused on internal controls and SOX compliance. Educational achievements include a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, both from Bowling Green State University.
