Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson is an accomplished leader in operations and safety management with extensive experience in the petroleum and logistics industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Transport & Rail Operations at Marathon Petroleum Corporation since August 2019, Mike has previously held senior positions at Andeavor and Tesoro Logistics LP, overseeing large teams and substantial operational budgets. With a solid background in environmental health and safety, Mike managed critical programs for Tesoro Corporation and served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army, specializing in chemical protection. Mike holds an MBA from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, a Master of Science in Health Science from California State University, Northridge, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tampa.
